UCKFIELD SOUL SURVIVORS CHOIR IN COMPETITION WINNING ROUT!
Although many people, (the Soul Survivors themselves included!) were caught by surprise when we recently competed in the East Grinstead Arts and Music Festival then only went and WON the darned thing with distinction no less! We always had faith of course, and I can't express how proud I am of this awesome choir. Our first proper stage performance, just two songs did the trick, arranged by the bonkers, but multi talented Ralph Millington. How amazing is that!? I hope we can continue to enjoy such events. "Filled with so much pride !! We competed in the East Grinstead Music & Arts festival for the first time since we started up 2 years ago. From a choir full of singers with the majority us thinking we can't sing… We came 1st with a DISTINCTION !!!! Massive well done to Ralph Millington for the arrangements working very closely with Timothy Guntrip ! So pleased we set up Uckfield Soul Survivors!! "
